Fiber Optic Cable (Single-mode)

Fiber optic is the highest class for nowadays network, it provides a light speed transmit speed to transform the data throughout the network
For singlemode fiber optic cable, it only can transmit data for one way (Either upload or download) at each data transformation. For multimode, the data can be transmitted from two ways (Both upload and download) at the same time
The cost of fiber optic is quiet higher than Cat5e/6 cable. However, because for its distinct high speed in transforming data compare with Cat5e/6 copper cord network, many large companies are currently change their network into the fiber optic cable network
There are two different types of fiber optic cables which can support different distance, Single-mode cable can support up to 3km and Multi-mode can support up to 2km.
